Founded in 1983 by Calvin Sheets, We started as a Captive Nationwide Insurance agency in Bear, Delaware. Calvin, a true “scratch agent,” built the agency from the ground up by focusing on one core principle: treating clients like family. His commitment to trust, transparency, and building strong, lasting relationships laid the foundation for the agency’s success.
In 2020, We made the transition from a Captive Nationwide agency to an independent broker. This shift allowed us to partner with a broader range of insurance companies, giving our clients more options and the flexibility to choose coverage that best fits their needs. The days of offering just one option to our clients are behind us. With the ability to provide multiple quotes from a variety of insurance companies, we’ve been able to expand and grow our agency to where it stands today.
In 2024, Kyle Sheets assumed leadership of the agency, continuing its tradition of exceptional service and a client-first philosophy. His vision is to blend the time-honored values of a family-owned business with a modern, forward-thinking approach—maintaining that local “Mom and Pop” atmosphere while outshining the large corporate companies.
